Suggested Donations for Waste and Rubbish Removal
The organisation provides essential waste removal services to its users waste carriers license (CBDU148622)
Currently the Organisation is unable to take beds under the free house clearance service as these items do not satisfy the ‘best practicable recycling option’. Currently the beds are large and difficult to store and ultimately consumers do not tend to purchase secondhand cots and beds. The Organisation feels that the cost and efforts of collecting such items is not cost effective as ultimately these items were amongst the highest that were taken to landfill as people just did not want to purchase secondhand mattresses and/or frames. However the position is under review annually by the trustees.

The Upcycle Workshop is a Community Led Organization that actively encourages people from all ages, backgrounds, cultures and ethnicity's' to reduce, reuse, recycle!
The aim is to encourage people back into work by teaching new transferable skills and build inner confidence by giving them the tools and advice they need to start generating their own income.
Q: What is upcycling?
A: Think of the hit BBC TV series “Money for Nothing” - Upcycling is trending as an affordable means of crafting bespoke furniture!
By reusing old damaged/broken items people can create new crafts which the users can then sell or keep after a 10% donation to GADAB to help cover expenses for materials and equipment used.
It’s a fun and creative outlet for local residents to network and learn skills from each other.
